Our commitment to privacy

This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use bitlark.dev and contact BitLark.

Policy scope

This page covers BitLark's website and direct communications. Product-specific data handling is documented separately:

Information we collect

If you contact us through the website or email, we receive the information you provide: your name and email address, project details, and anything you include in the message. A website inquiry may also include the first BitLark page visited, the referring site's hostname, and campaign identifiers such as UTM or ad-click parameters so we can understand how the inquiry arrived. Where analytics is active, Google Analytics may collect page and engagement events, referral and acquisition information, approximate location, browser and device information, and a first-party client ID cookie. BitLark does not send contact-form names, email addresses, message content, or other submitted personal information to Analytics. Google states that it uses an IP address to derive location information and then discards the IP address before the data is logged.

Analytics choice

For visitors in the United States, BitLark loads basic Google Analytics automatically. Visitors outside the United States are asked before Analytics loads. Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google Signals remain disabled everywhere. We honor Global Privacy Control and any explicit decline. A saved choice is stored only in your browser.

How we use your information

Information collected from bitlark.dev is used solely to respond to project inquiries and support requests, improve website usability, and maintain website reliability and security.

Contact form processing

Netlify processes and stores website form submissions and supports email delivery so BitLark can receive and respond to your inquiry.

Data sharing

We don't sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We disclose information to service providers that help operate the site and respond to inquiries, including Netlify for hosting and form processing and Google where Analytics is active. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or with your direction or consent.

Data security

We apply standard security controls to protect website and contact data, including encrypted transport and restricted access to support communications.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data you shared through bitlark.dev or email, or withdraw consent for follow-up communications. We will consider requests in light of applicable law and any information we must retain. You can change your analytics choice below.

Children's privacy

Our applications are not designed for or directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or within our applications.
