The product problem
The app is competing with calendars, messages, task lists, and every other notification on the phone. Linc gives each person a cadence, shows who is coming due, and lets the user record a call or visit in a tap.
The product succeeds when the reminder leads back to the relationship and then gets out of the way.
Privacy
Linc keeps its core relationship data on the device and in iCloud by default. Optional account sync supports people who want continuity across devices. The app has no public profile, audience, or social feed.
